World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series I-30 Event Cancelled Due to Persistent Rain
The Series will head to LoneStar Speedway in Kilgore, TX for Sunday, March 26 Event
LITTLE ROCK, AR— March 25, 2017— Due to a night of heavy rain hitting Little Rock, AR the World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series event has been cancelled.
Christman Steps Down as Series Director of Late Model Series
After 10 years at the helm, Tim Christman will be stepping down as Series Director for the World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series. During his tenure Tim guided the growth of the series from what was a 36-race schedule in 2006 to a 52-race calendar for the 2017 season. In the process, Tim became one of the most influential names in dirt late model racing, and his legacy will live on through events enjoyed by fans across the country.
CONCORD, N.C. — March 21, 2017— The World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series hits the road this week to close out the month of March. The traveling band of 15 full-time Series drivers, their crews, and seven Series Officials will conquer a 613 mile trek across three states in three days making three stops along the way.
CONCORD, N.C.—March 14, 2017—The World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series is gearing up to head back out on the road for the first time since the conclusion of DIRTcar Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park at the end of February. The first stop in March will be at Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, Miss. on March 24 and it will be nothing less than an action packed shootout.
CONCORD, N.C. — March 2, 2017— The World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series is making changes to two dates for the 2017 season. The original schedule consisting of 53-features will show a change to the location of the upcoming race in Mississippi and add one more track to the checklist by expanding the Series trek through Illinois in July.

Concord, N.C. — Feb. 16, 2017— The World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series 2017 season opener at Screven Motor Speedway in Sylvania, Ga. is familiar terrain for Georgia natives Shane Clanton and Brandon Overton. The track is nearly a stone’s throw away from the drivers’ hometowns when considering the number of fans who traveled from 42 states last year to see the first green flag of the season at the red clay oval.

This time next month a new season will be underway for the World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series. For the third year in a row the series will kick off at Screven Motorsports Complex on February 17-18 before the real madness begins at the 46th annual DIRTcar Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park.
