CONCORD, N.C. — May 27, 2016 — Overnight storms with more heavy rain expected today and tomorrow have forced World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series officials along with the team from Tyler County Speedway to cancel Sunday’s event. Track and series officials will get together this coming week to look for a possible date to reschedule the race at the West Virginia bullring.

CONCORD, N.C. — May 25, 2017 —The World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series will head to Western Pennsylvania for their return to McKean County Raceway on Tuesday, June 20 for the Hamlin Lake 50.

This visit marks the Series return to the third-mile clay-oval for the first time since 2011, when the 2016 World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series champion, Josh Richards took a trip down Victory Lane in front of a large crowd.

FAIRBURY, IL- May 24, 2017-  When Fairbury American Legion Speedway and the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series Officials first announced their partnership back in the spring of 2013, one thing was certain: the Prairie Dirt Classic was set for greatness. Taking home DirtonDirt.com’s National “Race of the Year” honors three out of the past four years, the Prairie Dirt Classic has become one of the elite events in the country. Set apart by the green-to-checkered excitement on the track and the passionate FALS fans off it, the 28th annual Prairie Dirt Classic presented by the Bank of Pontiac will again set the bar high in 2017. The two-day $30,000-to-win World of Outlaws-sanctioned event set for July 28-29 will feature the top drivers in the country chasing a total payout of $93,000 that includes $1,500 to start for the 100-lap feature event.

The World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series is set for three-days of action-packed racing at the 11th Annual Firecracker 100 at Lernerville Speedway, Thursday, June 22 through Saturday, June 24.

Each year the Firecracker 100 has continued to be a crown jewel event in dirt Late Model racing. With its big pay day, it’s one of those marquee events that drivers circle on their calendars. Drivers will compete in three-nights of non-stop, side-by-side racing at the high-banked 4/10-mile Lernerville Speedway.

First Quarter of the Season Recap

The World of Outlaws® Craftsman Late Model Series has hit the quarter mark of the 2017 season as 12 of the 54 scheduled races have been completed. Thus far, 13 full-time drivers and their crews, along with Series officials, have traveled countless of miles to bring Late Model shootouts to dirt tracks across the nation spanning from Texas to Illinois to Florida and tracks in between. The fans have seen nine different winners dance under confetti in Victory Lane, including full-time Outlaws Brandon Sheppard, Shane Clanton, Rick Eckert, Chris Madden, and Brian Shirley.

FVP Outlaw Clay Classic June 27 and 28

The World of Outlaws Craftsman® Sprint Car Series and World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series are set to converge in Illinois. The nation’s two premier dirt touring Series will cross paths during the second annual FVP Outlaw Clay Classic at the Dirt Oval at Route 66 Raceway in Joliet, IL on June 27 and 28. It’s the only chance for fans to see both World of Outlaws Series on consecutive nights this season before the World of Outlaws World Finals at the Dirt Track at Charlotte in November.

CONCORD, N.C. — May 10, 2017 — With heavy storms set to roll through central Tennessee on Friday, officials from the World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series alongside the team from Duck River Raceway Park believe it is in the best interest of drivers and fans to shift Friday night’s event to Sunday, May 14. The pits will open at noon and general admission will open at 1 p.m. Racing will begin at 5 p.m.
