CHARLOTTE, NC – November 3, 2018 – Australian Ian Madsen will be named the 2018 Kevin Gobrecht Rookie of the Year and accentuated that honor with his first World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series Feature win of the year Saturday afternoon during World Finals presented by Can-Am action at The Dirt Track at Charlotte Motor Speedway. CONCORD, NC – November 11, 2017 – It is with great excitement that the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series announces that Australian Ian Madsen will join the Series full-time in 2018. Madsen, the 2017 Knoxville Raceway Track Champion, scored his second career World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series victory during the running of the 39th Annual AGCO Jackson Nationals at the Jackson Motorplex in Minnesota in June of this year.

JACKSON, MN — June 1, 2017 — The Madsen brothers are nothing short of exciting every time they strap into a sprint car. The intensity level is often ratcheted up even more when they are racing each other for a win. They lived up to this moniker Thursday on the opening night of the 39th Annual AGCO Jackson Nationals for the World of Outlaws Craftsman® Sprint Car Series. While younger brother Ian led all 25 laps of the main event, older brother Kerry gave him a run for his money, especially on a late-race double file restart.
