LAKE ODESSA, MI – June 1, 2018 – David Gravel powered from third on a restart to lead Lap 16 and went on to win the Rumble in Michigan at I-96 Speedway. Shane Stewart continued his streak of top-five finishes with a second place run and Brad Sweet, who stole the lead from Gravel only for it to be negated by a yellow, settled for third at the conclusion of the caution-filled Feature.
LAKE ODESSA, MI — May 30, 2018 —No driver has a better average finish at I-96 Speedway over the last three World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series events at the track than Brad Sweet. The California native won at I-96 in 2015, was second in 2014 and ran third in his most recent start at the track in 2016. That trio of podium performances equates to an average finish of second.
LAKE ODESSA, MI — May 23, 2018 — The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series hits the track at I-96 Speedway in Lake Odessa, MI on Friday, June 1 for the Rumble in Michigan. The event will mark the Series return to the 3/8-mile, after a one-year hiatus.
The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series has raced a total of 14 times at I-96 Speedway, dating back to 1995. The majority of those races were on the original half-mile, which was re-configured a few years ago to its current 3/8-mile layout. David Gravel won the most recent World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series event at I-96 Speedway in 2016. The Connecticut native, who had a career-year in 2017, winning 18 Feature events, has two wins thus far in 2018.
