Live updates are now available from trackside at World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series events through the World of Outlaws official feed on Twitter, the internet’s fast-growing social-networking and micro-blogging website.

Updates are available via the Twitter website or as text messages via cell phones for subscribers. The service is free to use over the internet, but “followers” can be subject to standard text-message rates depending on their cell-phone service plans.

The World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series returns to action at the legendary Knoxville Raceway in Iowa on Saturday, May 2 with $10,000 on the line to win. A thrilling battle is shaping up in the series championship standings, with all five positions in the Top-Five changing after last weekend’s two races, with 20-time series champion Steve Kinser taking the point lead for the first time since 2005.
