Top Five North of the Border at Granby for Dollansky

Fans,
Fans,

Every season the World of Outlaws venture to new territory and new tracks.  That was the case on Friday for the Big Game Treestands #7 team as they traveled north of the border to sling dirt for the first time ever at Autodrome Granby in Granby, Quebec.

‘The Crowd Pleaser’ started the night off by posting the 6th fastest time in qualifying among the 24 cars signed in at the half-mile oval.  With the top twelve qualifiers inverted in three heats, the Aggressive Hydraulics Maxim started inside row two of heat #3 and finished 3rd.  An inversion of four for the dash then put Dollansky outside row three where he motored into 4th by the completion of the 6-lap event.

Starting outside row two for the 25-lap A-Main, Dollansky powered the MobileStar #7 into the runner-up spot in the early going before the first caution on lap 2.  Following another yellow six circuits later, Dollansky started inside for the double-file restart and lost two positions before a red flag on lap 10.  After a caution on the restart prompted the red flag to be displayed for a fuel stop, action stayed green until a final lap caution with the Eaton’s Aeroquip Performance Products backed sprinter in fifth.  The green-white-checkered finish saw Dollansky maintain position and cross the checkered flag for a series-best 20th top-five finish.

Racing continues tonight in Quebec for the Big Game Treestands #7 team at Autodrome Drummond.
