Strong Season Heads Dollansky to Knoxville Nationals!

Fans,
Fans,
When it comes to sprint car racing nothing shines brighter than Knoxville Raceway in August.  With many teams preparing for the $150,000-to-win event months in advance, it’s hard to believe that the biggest four day stretch of sprint car racing in the world is now here and the 52nd Annual Goodyear Knoxville Nationals will get underway on Wednesday.

Standing on top of the World of Outlaws championship standings heading into the races in Iowa, 2012 has been a great season thus far for ‘The Crowd Pleaser’ who has recorded six victories and leads the series in top-fives and quick-time awards.

“July was a busy month and we now have our sights set on the Knoxville Nationals and finishing the year strong,” commented the Elk River, Minnesota native.  “I’m very happy with how our team is performing and we all are working hard to keep ourselves prepared.  The Nationals come at one of the busiest times of the year but I couldn’t be more confident with our team going into this year’s event and the remainder of the World of Outlaws schedule.”

After finishing tenth a year ago, Craig Dollansky will make his twentieth appearance at the prestigious Knoxville Nationals where he has made the main event all but three times and has finished in the top-ten on twelve occasions.

If you’re in Knoxville this week stop by Young’s Park just south of the track on Friday at 11:00 AM as Dollansky along with many other drivers will participate in a fundraising kickball game raising money for children’s cancer research through the Jeff Gordon Children’s Foundation.

You can also stay up to date with Craig Dollansky Racing on Facebook and Twitter with news and notes as well as autograph session times taking place at the CDR souvenir trailer located just inside the Marion County Fairgrounds on the frontstretch.

Craig Dollansky Racing competes on the World of Outlaws circuit, the premier sprint car series in the world, with great sponsors in Big Game Treestands, Aggressive Hydraulics, Dakota Fluid Power’s MobileStar, and Eaton’s Aeroquip Performance Products.  Other supporters of CDR include Maxim Chassis, Morrison Racing Engines, Integra Racing Shocks, Spectro Oil, DMI, Keizer Wheels, All Pro Cylinder Heads, Snap-on, Schoenfeld Headers, Benic Enterprises, Sander Engineering, Goodyear Tires, Simpson, GATR Volvo, Butler Built Seats, Wings Unlimited, Saldana Race Products, FK Rod Ends, KSE Steering Gears, Astro Titanium, Ray’s Autobody, Premier Powder Coating, Bob’s Bike Shop, Randy’s Racing Filters, Justice Brothers Products, R&R Enterprises, Red Devil Brakes, Trent’s Signs & Graphics, Motor State Distributing, Pancho’s Race Products, Glenn Hepfner Inc., BR Motorsports, Kaeding Performance, SEKO, Racing Optics, Bosch, Fuel Safe, Kear’s Speed Shop, XYZ Machining Inc., and Fastener Specialties.
