Rolling Wheels Next on the Schedule for Saldana and Motter Team

Fans,
Fans,

ELBRIDGE, N.Y. (Oct. 7, 2015) – The World of Outlaws Sprint Cars will join the Big Block Modifieds and Super DIRT Week with a lone event Saturday, Oct. 10 at Rolling Wheels Raceway Park.

Joey Saldana, piloting the Motter Equipment HE&M Saw Beltline Body Shop 71M, qualified fourth last year and finished a very respectable fifth.  Saldana’s best finish at the New York track was second in 2007.

In 1995, 20 years ago, Stevie Smith drove the Motter-owned yellow 71M Sprint Car to victory circle.

Saldana is in a battle for three through five in the World of Outlaws point standings, which in all likelihood, will not be decided until the final race of the season at The Dirt Track at Charlotte Motor Speedway, the first weekend of November.

“We have to push everything and be aggressive,” said team owner Dan Motter. “With the caliber of competition in the field, we have to look for every gain, every fraction of an inch.

“I know that Joey and the team will give their absolute best.  Whatever happens, we make decisions as a team and we will need to seize every opportunity. There will be no easy path, but we are fired up and aiming for the top.”
