Inside Line Promotions – FERGUS FALLS, Minn. – Defending World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series champion Daryn Pittman leads the premier sprint car series back to I-94 Speedway on Saturday, June 21.
Pittman set quick time and established a new track record during the inaugural visit to the track last season, when he ended the night with a second-place finish in the main event.
“It was a cool place,” he said. “I always enjoy going to new places. We had a chance to win and were strong all night.”
Although David Gravel captured the feature win, Pittman showcased speed throughout the race to help him build his championship points lead at the unique track.
“It was fun,” he said. “It was a good-sized 3/8 mile. It had good banking on it and was pretty quick.”
While Pittman held a triple-digit lead in the championship standings before and after last season’s race at I-94 Speedway, the title chase this season is much closer. The top four in the standings are within 73 points with Pittman only eight markers out of the lead.

Check out the O’Reilly Auto Parts $5 off general admission ticket special. When fans purchase a general admission ticket at a participating O’Reilly Auto Parts store they receive $5 off (adult tickets are $35 or $30 at O’Reilly Auto Parts and child tickets are $15 or $10 at O’Reilly Auto Parts ). Children 5 and younger get into the race for free. Fans need to exchange their O’Reilly Auto Parts receipt for a ticket at the main grandstands booth on race day.
A pit/combo ticket is also available, which includes a reserved seat, a pit pass and a “Class of 2014” poster of the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series drivers. Adult pit/combo tickets are $38 and pit/combo tickets for children aged 0 to 12 are $25.
The track has reserved seats available (the top five rows of Section G) and has adult and general admission for sale.
Additionally, overnight parking is available for $20 in the north parking lot and tailgating spots are available for $35.
