World of Outlaws Mourns the Death of Bryan Clauson

CONCORD, N.C. – Aug. 8, 2016 – The World of Outlaws and the whole of World Racing Group extends its deepest condolences to the family and friends of Bryan Clauson.

Clauson was a fierce and passionate competitor and dear friend to so many. His loss leaves an enormous and unfillable void within the motorsports community.

“Bryan was a force and brought an unmatched spirit and passion to everything that he did,” said World Racing Group CEO Brian Carter. “Not only was he fierce on track, he was gracious and generous off track. We were lucky to have been part of the great things that Bryan Clauson did.”

As Clauson embarked this season on his quest to run 200 open wheel races, the World of Outlaws was proud to play a small part. He made 21 starts with the series this season, most recently at Lernerville Speedway’s Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup.

“The loss of Bryan Clauson is unimaginable,” said World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series Director Carlton Reimers. “Bryan was a great race car driver but, more importantly, he was a great person. There are not words adequate enough to describe what this loss means.”

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the USAC Benevolent Fund online at http://usacbf.org/cash-donation/, or by check. Checks can be made out to the USAC Benevolent Foundation in the name of Bryan Clauson. The address is: 124 E Northfield Drive, Suite F #129, Brownsburg, Ind. 46112.
