MOTTER TEAM POSITIVE AND FOCUSED FOR ROLLING WHEELS RACE

ELBRIDGE, N.Y. (July 22, 2013) – Rolling Wheels Raceway Park hosts the last stand for the World of Outlaws July 23 before they cross the border for a three-race run into Quebec and Ontario, Canada.

Joey Saldana, driver of the Motter Equipment Fatheadz Eyewear 71M, despite a strong run Sunday (July 21) night in Lebanon Valley, N.Y., wasn’t able to capitalize on the strength of the team and competitiveness of the car due to a tire failure two laps from the end of the event.

“I wish we had some magical powers to ward off gremlins,” said team owner Dan Motter.  “We have a good car and we can race up front and hold our own. We won’t let these gremlins get us down.  We will stay positive, upbeat and focused.  We have a great driver in Joey, we have a seasoned team, and we have good equipment.

“We have our sights set on one event at a time and right now our goal is to win at Rolling Wheels.”

Saldana is currently sixth in World of Outlaws point standings and has three quick times, two track records and 10 top-5 finishes to his credit this season.
