Good Run Erased at Lawrenceburg for Dollansky

Fans,
Fans,

The month of May came to a close on Monday for the Big Game Treestands #7 team as they took to Lawrenceburg Speedway for the first time since 2009 for some Memorial Day racing.

Making his 7th appearance at the 3/8-mile oval located in eastern Indiana, ‘The Crowd Pleaser’ stopped the clock 14th fastest at 12.092 seconds to make the sixteen car inversion.  In heat #2, Dollansky paced the field from the pole to record the win aboard the MobileStar Maxim.  A touch of luck for the dash inversion put the Elk River, Minnesota native on the pole and Dollansky capitalized on the draw as he again motored into the lead and won the 6-lap event.

In the 35-lap A-Main the Aggressive Hydraulics #7 started on the pole and raced side-by-side with Danny Lasoski down the fronstretch with Lasoski getting the edge as the field motored into turn 1.  Following a caution on lap 13, Dollansky fought off a charge from Kraig Kinser on the restart and then closed in on Chad Kemena to challenge for the lead by lap 20.  As action continued tough luck found Dollansky on the 26th circuit as the right rear tire blew going down the frontstretch and the Eaton’s Aeroquip Performance Products backed sprinter brought out the caution.  Able to restart with nine laps to go, Dollansky raced into the 16th spot before the checkered flag flew.  The finish snapped a streak of 6 top-tens that included a victory among 4 top-fives.

The Big Game Treestands #7 team of DJ Lindsey and Luke Dollansky now head across the border into Ohio where racing resumes on Friday at Attica Raceway Park.
