Kerry Madsen – 8th in the World of Outlaws Standings
Kerry Madsen earned his best career World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series finish since 2008 by placing eighth in the standings.
Madsen and his Keneric Racing team claimed five feature wins, which is more than twice as many as Madsen had earned entering this season.
He won three events in an 11-race span early in the summer, including at Knoxville Raceway, Belleville High Banks and the Brad Doty Classic at Limaland Motorsports Park.
Madsen was also victorious at Skagit Speedway and in the inaugural event at Willamette Speedway.
Additionally, he ranked in the top five in feature wins and feature laps led, and he led the series in dash victories.
