For the 31st time in the history of the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series, it will venture to Grays Harbor Raceway with the best Sprint Car drivers in the world.

Continuing the Series’ trek through the West Coast, the Monday night race will see drivers battling for a $10,000 payday around the 3/8-mile track.

The event will also be a key race in the championship as drivers will have a month left to get their season in shape to compete for the title at the World of Outlaws World Finals, Nov. 2-5.

WORLD OF OUTLAWS @ GRAYS HARBOR – Monday, Sept. 5
Track: Grays Harbor Raceway
Location: Elma, WA
To Win: $10,000
Track Record: 11.561 sec. set by David Gravel on Sept. 9, 2021
2021 Winner: Logan Schuchart

Notables: Last year was the World of Outlaws’ first time back at Grays Harbor Raceway since 2019. Logan Schuchart picked up the victory, becoming the fourth different driver in four races to win there. The other three were Daryn Pittman, 10-time Series champion Donny Schatz – who has five Series wins at the track – and Shane Stewart.

Of active drivers, Schuchart, Schatz and Kraig Kinser are currently the only three with a victory at Grays Harbor.

Sheldon Haudenschild and Jacob Allen, who are both having a career year, could be top contenders to add their name to that list and become the fifth different winner in a row as they’ve also both had multiple wins on a 3/8-mile track this year.

Kasey Kahne, of Enumclaw, WA, will return to his home state, looking for his first World of Outlaws victory behind the wheel of his own Fuel Me #9 car.

If you can’t make it to the track, you can watch every lap live on DIRTVision – either online or by downloading the DIRTVision App.
