Fresh off being crowned King Anthony XLIII, Anthony Macri returns to familiar territory as the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series heads to Central Pennsylvania for a stop at BAPS Motor Speedway followed by two nights of racing at Williams Grove Speedway.
BAPS Motor Speedway has produced five different winners in five World of Outlaws events, with Macri becoming the latest winner one year ago. This week, he has the opportunity to become the first repeat winner in series history at the York Haven oval. In his two career Outlaw starts at BAPS, Macri owns a victory and a ninth-place finish.
After the 2025 Williams Grove Summer Nationals were washed out by weather, Macri's most memorable Outlaw moment at the legendary half-mile came earlier that spring when he earned his first career World of Outlaws victory at the track. Injury kept the Dillsburg, Pennsylvania, native out of both subsequent Outlaw appearances at Williams Grove. Earlier this season, however, the No. 39M team returned with Kasey Kahne behind the wheel and recorded a win and a fifth-place finish.
Since returning from injury, Macri has made three starts at Williams Grove, winning both of his Pennsylvania Speedweek appearances before adding a fourth-place finish last Friday night.
