CONCORD, NC — DIRTVision’s first #DVWatchParty presented by Morton Buildings featuring driver commentary on Friday night was a big hit with fans.
First it was Tim McCreadie recounting how he captured the 2019 Firecracker 100 and what it meant to him and his team. Then, 2005 World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series champion Billy Moyer and three-time DIRTcar Summer Nationals champion Brian Shirley joined host Dillon Welch to recall Moyer’s victory at I-55 Raceway. Finally, Brandon Sheppard and Bobby Pierce hopped on the broadcast to close out the night with last year’s absolutely incredible Prairie Dirt Classic, where Sheppard won with a final turn slide job on Pierce.
All the drivers provided unique insight into what was happening not only during the race, but what those races meant in the big picture, especially Moyer talking about how critical the victory was when he wound up winning the championship a few weeks later on a tie-breaker over Steve Francis.
On Saturday night, World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car stars recall some of their biggest Knoxville Raceway triumphs, including Brian Brown, David Gravel and Brad Sweet, who is joined by car owner Kasey Kahne. Tune into DIRTVision at 6 p.m. Eastern to see the races and then hear the drivers discuss the events.
