Heavy afternoon rain that will continue into the evening in the Fountain City, WI area has led World of Outlaws CASE Construction Equipment Late Model and Mississippi Thunder Speedway officials to cancel Friday’s portion of the third annual Dairyland Showdown.
More than a quarter inch of rain has fell at the facility in an hour’s time.
The decision comes after working closely with Meteorologist Wayne Mahar from Precision Weather Service and monitoring the local weather for the past 24 hours.
If you bought a ticket in advance of Friday’s event, your ticket will be refunded through MyRacePass.
Anyone with a three-day ticket or pit pass can mail them in for a refund, postmarked no later than 30 days from the end of the event (June 6). The mailing address is 1140 72nd Avenue, Minnesota City, MN, 55959.
