Brushcreek, World of Outlaws to Celebrate Jackie Boggs with ‘The 4B4EVER 40’

LM_JackieBoggs
Inaugural event at Ohio speedway honors legendary Dirt Late Model racer

When the news of Jackie Boggs’ sudden passing came late in the 2020 race season, fans across the country mourned the loss of a Dirt Late Model racing legend. Boggs especially hit home with the fans and staff of the Brushcreek Motorsports Complex, where he won four of the historic “Harley Races” and countless other events on both configurations at the track in Peebles, OH.

Brushcreek was widely considered by many to be Boggs’ favorite to race — many remember his dominance. Those fans and many more will get to join the World of Outlaws Late Model Series and the Boggs family on Saturday, April 24, in a Celebration of Life for Jackie Boggs dubbed as The 4B4EVER 40.

The 4B4EVER 40 will feature the World of Outlaws Late Model Series in a Battle for $10,000, and, in true Boggs fashion, will send a lucky fan home with a new Harley Davidson motorcycle. Individual fans will be paired with a driver in the field and if their driver wins the race, they will win the Harley. The track will also take a portion of race profits and all donations made by fans and present them to the Boggs Family and 4B Motorsports. Boggs apparel will also be for sale at the event and fans are encouraged to support the Boggs family by stopping by their merchandise trailer.

Also racing with the World of Outlaws Late Models will be Sport Mods and the Ohio Valley Legend Car Series. The World of Outlaws has visited the Brushcreek Motorsports Complex twice with Dale McDowell winning in 2005 and Steve Francis winning in 2006. It will be the first time a National Late Model Sanctioning Body has run on the smaller 3/10-mile configuration. Local stars such as Tyler Carpenter are always good at Brushcreek and have multiple Feature wins.

Saturday, April 24, the Pit Gates will open at noon with General Admission opening at 2:00pm and Hot Laps beginning at 5:00pm. Pit Passes will be $45 for all ages. General Admission will be $30 for Adults, Kids 12-to-7 years old will be $15, and Kids 6-and-Under will be free. Online ticket sales will be available soon at www.worldofoutlaws.com/latemodels.
