Countdown To The USA Nationals At Cedar Lake Speedway: Chub Frank

The 49-year-old Frank has only started the USA Nationals twice – the events sanctioned by the WoO LMS in 2005 and 2010. He finished 15th in the 60-lap A-Main in ’05 and third in last year’s 100-lapper.
Frank’s run to the show position in the ’10 USA Nationals was an improbable story. He nearly had to sit out the A-Main after mechanical trouble prevented him from running the Last Chance Race, but a provisional gave him the 25th starting spot and he quietly stayed out of trouble to score a third-place finish worth $10,000.
