SALINA, OK. – October 21, 2017 – Kerry Madsen had over an eight second lead last night at Lakeside Speedway before spinning in heavy lapped traffic. Tonight, the ‘Mad Man’ made sure he parked his GoMuddy.com No.2M where it belonged – on the frontstretch. In thrilling fashion, Madsen went from third to the lead in half a lap and went on to win his fifth World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series Feature of the season. RANSOMVILLE, New York – October 16, 2017 – The ‘Steel City Outlaw’ Tim Shaffer led flag-to-flag in the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series first visit to the Ransomville Speedway in 20 years. Shaffer fell off the narrow frontstretch in lapped traffic with two to go, but was able to corral his No. 49X and pilot it to his second World of Outlaws Feature win of the year. Greg Hodnett Pockets $20,000 in Summer Nationals Makeup Feature

MECHANICSBURG, PA – Greg Hodnett’s eventful evening was capped off in style as he led all 30 laps to score the $20,000 Summer Nationals Makeup Feature from July. Lucas Wolfe came from eighth to finish second with Donny Schatz completing the podium.

Hodnett started on the front row and was strong from the drop of the green edging fellow front row starter, David Gravel early on. Gravel and Danny Dietrich had a spirited battle for second with the eventually latter taking over. Dietrich was strong on the cushion in turns one and two and closed on Hodnett significantly as the Heffner Racing No.27 was stuck in lapped traffic.

David Gravel Wins Opening Night of Champion Racing Oil National Open

Mechanicsburg, PA – September 29, 2017 – David Gravel assumed the lead after race leaders Greg Hodnett and Shane Stewart got together on lap nine. Gravel led the rest of the way, but not without a fight from Daryn Pittman and Lance Dewease, who finished second and third. Pittman and Dewease finished within a second of Gravel at the finish.

Outlaws Will Conclude Battle with PA Posse at Port Royal

CONCORD, NC – September 26, 2017 – The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series returns to the Port Royal Speedway on Saturday October 14, 2017 for the running of the Nittany Showdown. The event will mark the conclusion of the 2017 battle between the World of Outlaws and the Pennsylvania Posse.

As of now, the score lies Outlaws – 3, Posse – 1, although by the time the Series arrives at Port Royal that number will be significantly different with the Champion Racing Oil National Open at Williams Grove taking place beforehand, Septemeber 28-30.
