World of Outlaws Late Model Series Points Leader Scores Third Win Of 2012

ORRVILLE, OH – May 25, 2012 – Darrell Lanigan of Union, Ky., returned to his winning ways on Friday night, slipping by Tim McCreadie of Watertown, N.Y., with a dramatic late-race pass to capture the World of Outlaws Late Model Series ‘Buckeye Classic’ at NAPA Auto Parts Wayne County Speedway.
The former series champion overtook McCreadie for the lead on lap 47 of the 50-lap A-Main and rolled on to his third triumph of 2012. No other driver has won more than once through 12 events this season.

CONCORD, N.C. — May 25, 2012 — Joey Saldana led 23 laps, including the final eight, to claim the Circle K NOS Energy Outlaw Showdown at The Dirt Track at Charlotte in front of the TV cameras and a packed facility.
The race was aired live on SPEED and featured Saldana taking the lead for good on lap 23 when Steve Kinser, who gained the top spot the previous lap, sustained a flat left rear tire. Saldana then outlasted Donny Schatz and KSE Hard Charger Craig Dollansky, who drove from 21st to finish third. (CLICK FOR FULL RACE REPORT)
