Emotions high as World of Outlaws invade Sprint Car racing’s biggest event

CONCORD, N.C. – Sept. 2, 2011 – The World of Outlaws 51st Goodyear Knoxville Nationals was full of drama from the first night of qualifying to the $150,000 checkered flag, and through it all SPEED captured the emotion of Sprint Car racing’s biggest week, showcasing what Knoxville means to every competitor and now bringing it to the fans at Noon on Sunday, Sept. 4, in a two-hour special broadcast.

Daring passes and scary crashes led to heartbreaking moments and pure jubilation at the million-dollar event. Hall of Fame racers try to come through the storied alphabet from the E-main to the A-main for one more shot at glory while rising stars battle for their place on center stage.
