Altoona, IA — There have been better weekends for the McCarl family. From broken motors, to a weathered out show in Missouri, to a hard flip at Huset’s, it couldn’t have been much worse. Sprint car driver Terry McCarl took a blow with his race results at Knoxville and Huset’s, but Terry McCarl the promoter took a hit as well when strong spring Missouri storms postponed the World of Outlaws show at US36 Raceway near Cameron on Friday. Clovis, CA — Getting the call on Friday that the Missouri High-Banked Nationals at US 36 Raceway in Cameron, Missouri were rained out due to an extremely excessive amount of rain and severe weather in the area in the days preceding and including the event, World of Outlaws (WoO) driver Jason Meyers was admittedly concerned that he once again flew out to the Midwest from his home in Clovis, Calif. just to be rained out again.
