WoO Sprint Car Series at North Central Speedway

Brainerd, MN — The World of Outlaws returned to North Central Speedway in Brainerd, Minnesota on July 3 for the first time since 2008. Jason Sides opened the night by setting fast time in qualifying. Brooke Tatnell, Jason Meyers and Danny Lasoski won heat races. Meyers won the dash to earn the pole for the main event. He was challenged late in the going by Donny Schatz and held off the four-time and defending series champion to earn his first career win at North Central Speedway and his first win in the state of Minnesota. WoO Sprint Car Series at Huset's Speedway

Brandon, SD — The World of Outlaws returned to Huset’s Speedway on July 1 for the first time since 2008, after both races fell to rain last year. Jason Meyers started off the night by turning the fastest lap in time trials. Heat races went to Kraig Kinser, Donny Schatz and Paul McMahan. Lucas Wolfe won the dash to start on the pole in the 35-lap main event. He led the first 29 circuits before Sammy Swindell got around. Swindell was in the lead coming to the white flag when Steve Kinser got around him coming off turn four. Swindell battled back and retook the lead in turn 1 in heavy traffic and would pick up the win. Read More
Kasey's King of Sedalia World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series

Sedalia, MO — The World of Outlaws made a stop at Missouri State Fair Speedway for the third round of the Showdown for the Bud Crown, Kasey’s King of Sedalia Presented by Budweiser. A huge crowd was on hand to witness Kasey Kahne compete against the best sprint car drivers in the world. Just as time trials were about to be completed, rain came and stayed for the rest of the evening, postponing the event until Tuesday, June 29. The World of Outlaws returned to Missouri State Fair Speedway for the first time since 2008, on June 29 for Kasey’s King of Sedalia Presented By Budweiser (postponed from the originally scheduled June 16 race date). Jason Meyers opened the night by turning the fastest lap in qualifying, with Wayne Johnson, Kerry Madsen and Jason Sides winning heat races. Sam Hafertepe Jr. won the dash to earn the pole position for the main event. Hafertepe led the first 14 laps of the feature before Jason Sides got around him coming off turn four. Kansas City, KA — The World of Outlaws returned to Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas for the first time since 2003 on June 26. A very hot and muggy day greeted the drivers and teams. Paul McMahan began the night by setting fast time, with heat races going to Sam Hafertepe Jr., Donny Schatz and Sammy Swindell. Jac Haudenschild won the dash to start on the pole for the 30-lap main event. Joey Saldana led early before his engine began to sour. Steve Kinser took the top spot on a restart on the 12th circuit. World of Outlaws Sprint Series at Junction Motor Speedway

McCool Junction, Nebraska — The World of Outlaws visited Junction Motor Speedway in McCool Junction, Nebraska for the first time ever on June 25. The largest crowd in the history of the track was on hand to see Brooke Tatnell battle Jason Meyers for the win. Tatnell took the lead on the 16th lap with a slide job in turns three and four. For Tatnell it was his second win of the season with the World of Outlaws and the 11th of his career. Craig Dollansky finished second with Donny Schatz third, Jason Meyers fourth and Lucas Wolfe, who set a new track record in time trials fifth. Read More

Grand Forks, ND — The World of Outlaws invaded River Cities Speedway for two nights of racing on June 18 and 19. The first night was pushed back by raining with the show running on Saturday and Saturday. Steve Kinser was victorious over fellow Hall of Famers Jac Haudenschild and Sammy Swindell in the opener. Joey Saldana won a thriller in the finale over Jac Haudenschild to claim the overall title in the Duel in the Dakotas. Read More

The World of Outlaws invaded the Old West on Friday, June 11 and Saturday, June 12 for the annual Boot Hill Showdown at Dodge City Raceway Park in Kansas. Sammy Swindell picked up his first win of the season with the World of Outlaws and his first since 2006 in exciting fashion over Joey Saldana, with Jason Sides third, Kerry Madsen fourth and Jason Meyers fifth. Joey Saldana made up for his near miss on Friday night in the finale on Sunday afternoon, which had been postponed by rain on Saturday. Saldana traded the lead with Jason Meyers three times en route to his fifth win of the season and his fifth career win at Dodge City. Meyers was second, with Lucas Wolfe third, Steve Kinser fourth and Paul McMahan fifth. Read More

Knoxville, Iowa — The World of Outlaws visited the famed Knoxville Raceway for the Mediacom Shootout and the Inaugural Hall of Fame Classic Presented by Mediacom. Brooke Tatnell held off a hard charging Jason Meyers and Sammy Swindell late in the race to score his first World of Outlaws win since 2008 in the Mediacom Shootout. Franklin, PA — The World of Outlaws made their inaugural visit to Tri-City Speedway in Franklin, Pennsylvania on May 30 as part of the Memorial Day weekend. A huge crowd packed the half-mile on a picture perfect day and was treated to a thrilling battle between Jason Sides and Steve Kinser.
