2009 Season Review: Darrah competed on the always tough Central Pennsylvania circuit, picking up a total of six wins, including his first career World of Outlaws A-Feature victory in the rain-delayed finale of the Summer Nationals at Williams Grove Speedway, which was completed on October 3 following the National Open. He then competed the next weekend with the World of Outlaws at Rolling Wheels Raceway Park in New York aboard the No. 19 machine for Kasey Kahne Racing, finishing sixth, and he wrapped up the season in that car during the third annual World Finals at The Dirt Track @ Lowe’s Motor Speedway.
He competed in a total of 17 events with the World of Outlaws at eight different tracks earning seven Top-10 finishes with three of those being Top-Fives.

Previous Racing History: Began racing at the age of 13 in Micro Sprints. Raced a 410 Sprint Car for the first time in 2006 at the age of 16. 2008- Won for the first time in a 410 sprint car in 2008 at Lincoln Speedway in Pennsylvania, also picked up victories at Williams Grove Speedway and Port Royal Speedway. Won an unsanctioned version of the Morgan Hughes National Open at Williams Grove. 2009- Won the $15,000 “Dream Race” at Port Royal Speedway, also won a Keystone Cup event at Lincoln Speedway. Competed at the famed Eldora Speedway for the first time in 2009, racing in all four events sanctioned by the World of Outlaws at the half-mile, setting fast time in the Kings Royal
