Two-time and defending World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series champion David Gravel enters the weekend with momentum after scoring his eighth victory of the season earlier this week at Ohsweken. As the tour heads to New York's Weedsport Speedway, Gravel brings an unmatched recent record at the track. He has won three consecutive World of Outlaws events there and five of the last six overall. In the lone race he didn't win in 2022, he finished second after nearly tracking down Donny Schatz in the closing laps. Remarkably, Gravel hasn't finished outside the top five at Weedsport since 2015, making him the clear benchmark entering the weekend.
