WoO LMS History: Was not a WoO LMS regular in 2004, but won first career tour event that season, on May 8 at North Georgia Speedway… Became a WoO LMS regular in ’05 and finished 10th in the point standings despite being sidelined for nearly two months after suffering a separated left shoulder in an April incident at Lernerville Speedway. After recovering from shoulder surgery, he returned to the trail and finished the season strong, winning on Oct. 26 at Golden Isles Speedway… Enjoyed best season ever in 2006, winning twice (PA’s Tri-City Speedway and the ‘Pittsburgher 100’ at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway) and finishing second in the points standings, 16 points behind Tim McCreadie. Was in contention for title down to last race… Won twice in 2007, at Virginia Motor Speedway and the tour’s first-ever visit to Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kans… Four fast-time awards in 2007 tied him for second-most on the series… Failed to qualify for just one of 43 events in 2008 – the Circle K Colossal 100, which offered only show-up points… Set a personal single-season high for wins in 2008, capturing four A-Mains. Victories came at Boone County Raceway in Albion, Neb.; Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tenn.; Tri-City Speedway in Franklin, Pa.; and I-55 Raceway in Pevely, Mo…. Was in battle for second place finish in points standings but settled for fourth place… Entered 2009 with high hopes and plenty of momentum, but experienced frustrating season. Won just once (April’s Illini 100 at Farmer City Raceway) and finished sixth in the points standings… Led ’09 points standings after seventh event of season (at Fayetteville Motor Speedway), but steadily fell from contention over next two months… Enters 2010 season with 11 career WoO LMS wins and as one of only four drivers (Steve Francis, Darrell Lanigan and Chub Frank are others) with at least one victory every season since 2004…

Other Racing History: Began racing career in 1994, competing in the Sportsman division at local tracks such as Dixie Speedway and 7 Flags Speedway… Won more than 50 Sportsman features throughout the Southeast before advancing to the dirt Late Model class… After hooking up with car owner Ronnie Dobbins and SAE Parts, Inc. in 2003, increased schedule and broke out with seven wins, including the prestigious Ice Bowl event at Talladega (Ala.) Short Track and the $10,000 Georgia Challenge at North Georgia Speedway… Toured with the Xtreme DirtCar Series in 2004, finishing seventh in points and earning Rookie of the Year honors. His five XDCS wins were highlighted by the $10,000 Dixie Shootout… Major victories in 2005 included the Ice Bowl; $10,000 James King Memorial at Columbus (Miss.) Speedway; the Tar Heel 50; and Turkey Rumble at North Georgia… Won six races off the WoO LM tour in 2006, including Southern All-Stars Series events at North Georgia, Talladega and Crossville, Tenn.; the Yankee-Doodle 50 at Central PA Speedway; and the first round of the Dixie Shootout at Rome (Ga.) Speedway (worth $15,000)… Earned $25,000 for capturing the Magnolia 100 on Sept. 29, 2007, at Columbus (Miss.) Speedway… Cemented his status as a true national star in 2008 with a victory in the prestigious World 100 at Ohio’s Eldora Speedway – one of a dozen races he won away from the WoO LMS in ’08… Won back-to-back $20,000 first-place prizes late in 2009 season, capturing Columbus’s Magnolia 100 for the second time in three seasons and a 100-lap event at Ohio’s K-C Raceway the following week…

Interesting Facts: Hobbies include skiing and deep-sea fishing… His father, Billy, was a well-known dirt-track racer in the Southeast, and his older brothers Rusty and Joey are asphalt drivers (Joey was the 2002 ASA series champion and has competed on the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series)… Is nicknamed ‘Coconut’ and the ‘Georgia Bulldog.’...
