WoO LMS History: A regular for all three seasons of the tour’s World Racing Group-era (2004-2007), Smith has failed to start just one of the 154 A-Mains run over the span. Engine problems left him a non-qualifier on Feb. 19, 2006, at Florida’s Volusia Speedway Park… Scored top finish of third (twice) on 2004 series and finished 10th in the point standings… Registered first career WoO LMS victory on April 9, 2005, at Virginia Motor Speedway. The race was the first tour event to be taped for broadcast by the SPEED television network... Won a second feature in 2005 (at Butler, Mich.) and finished ninth in the point standings… With four victories in 2006, was the tour’s second-biggest winner. Interesting Facts: The son of legendary Southeast driver/car builder Roscoe Smith, Clint grew up around the sport.
