Hometown: Unadilla, N.Y.
Born: Nov. 21, 1964

2005: Another Modified mainstay making up the ‘Elite 11’ list, was a contender at all 21 stops on the Advance Auto Parts tour. He triumphed in the return to Albany-Saratoga (NY) Speedway and added his second victory in the coveted Eckerd 200 during the rain-delayed Super DIRT Week show on the Syracuse Mile. He tallied eight top-five and 15 top-10 finishes while posting four fast qualifying times ---with records set at Canandaigua and Hagerstown--- to secure fourth in the final Mr. DIRT points chase. He opened the season with a Florida Tour victory at Volusia and added five more big-block feature wins at Empire State ovals Brewerton and Fulton speedways during the summer.

Career: The ‘Franklin Flyer’ has quickly gained national prominence by copping four televised Eckerd 200 Championships held at the New York State Fairgrounds while racking up 134 big-block feature wins in a 20-year open-wheel career that includes 32 Advance Auto Parts Modified Super DIRT Series victories. He has garnered nine individual DIRT track championships as well as the overall 1998 Hoosier-Sunoco Mr. DIRT Modified crown, adding three Lebanon Valley 200 and a pair of Rolling Wheels National 200 triumphs along the way.
