WoO LMS History: Was just 14 years old when he entered his first tour event on April 15, 2006, at Virginia Motor Speedway… Participation in WoO LMS has increased with each season: entered one event in 2006 (DNQ); five in 2007 (three A-Main starts); seven in 2008 (one qualification); and 28 in 2009 (22 A-Main starts)… Registered three fifth-place finishes during breakout ’09 campaign – May 30 at Hagerstown (Md.) Speedway, June 21 at Cornwall (Ont.) Motor Speedway and Aug. 13 at Pennsy’s Grandview Speedway. Also earned first career WoO LMS fast-time honor on Aug. 14 at Bedford (Pa.) Speedway (also set fast time on Sept. 5 at Pennsy’s Tri-City Speedway) and won four heat races and one B-Main… Finished 16th in the ’09 points standings…

Other Racing History: Began racing career in 1997 as a five-year-old in the go-kart division… Was a WKA Daytona World Champion in 2001-2002 and a WKA National Champion in 2002… Captured twin championships in 2003 at Middleford (Del.) Speedway, taking the Slingshot and 250cc Mini-Sprint division crowns… Was honored as the 2005 Late Model Rookie of the Year at Virginia Motor Speedway and won the half-mile oval’s track title in 2007 at the age of 15… In 2007 became the youngest dirt Late Model feature winner in the history of Delaware International Speedway… Won two dirt Late Model features at Virginia Motor in 2008… Scored a single feature win in 2009, in October at Ohio’s Midway Speedway… In September 2008 became the second-youngest driver (behind 2009 WoO LMS champ Josh Richards) to qualify for the World 100 at Ohio’s Eldora Speedway and registered the overall fastest lap for the Dirt Track World Championship at Lawrenceburg (Ind.) Speedway…. Has spent his entire dirt Late Model career primarily driving equipment fielded by his father Mike, but in 2010 will chase the WoO LMS in the well-known No. 19 machines owned by Maryland’s Dale Beitler. The well-known veteran car owner announced in November 2009 that he was putting Hubbard in the seat of his cars following a two-year run with 2007 WoO LMS champion Steve Francis… Beitler’s operation will be overseen in 2010 by respected mechanic Robby Allen, who served as Hubbard’s racing mentor this season. Allen will head out on the WoO LMS road fulltime in 2010 for the first time since he left Rick Eckert’s side following the 2006 campaign…

Interesting Facts: In order to go racing fulltime in 2010, Hubbard accelerated his senior-year studies with night classes and received his high-school diploma from Sussex Tech in December 2009… His older brother, Matt, preceded him in WoO LMS competition. Though Matt no longer races, he qualified for four series events during the 2005 season with a top finish of 11th (at Delaware International Speedway) to his credit…
